# Keyword Blacklist

> Automatically hide comments that contain words or phrases you choose.

The Keyword Blacklist hides any comment that contains a word or phrase you've listed. Use it for things you always want gone, like scam phrases or a competitor's name, whether or not AI Moderation is on.

## Add keywords

1. Go to **AI Assistant > Keyword Blacklist**.
2. Click **Add Keyword(s)**.
3. Under **Keywords**, enter one phrase per line, or separate them with commas.
4. Under **Apply to accounts**, pick the pages the keywords should apply to. You need at least one.
5. Click **Add keywords**.

You can also get here from a page's **Page settings**: under **Blocked phrases**, click **Open**.

## How matching works

- Matching ignores capitals, so "Scam" and "scam" are the same.
- A keyword matches whole words or whole phrases only. "scam" matches "this is a scam" but not "scammer".
- It checks new comments on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. It doesn't apply to DMs.
- Each comment it hides uses 1 AI credit. If your organization has no credits left, keywords aren't checked.

Examples: `scam`, `don't buy this`, `refund now`.

## Manage your list

The table shows each keyword, how many comments it has **Hidden**, when it was **Added**, and which **Accounts** it applies to.

- **Search keywords…** to find one quickly.
- Click the edit button in the **Actions** column to change which accounts a keyword applies to, or the delete button to remove it.
- To change many at once, tick keywords (or choose **All keywords**), click **Bulk edit**, pick an **Account**, and click **Add keywords**. Turn off **Add to the account** to remove the keywords from that account instead.

To see which keyword hid a comment, open the comment in the inbox and choose **More actions > View logs**.
