Scheduled tasks
Have Obie run a prompt every day, week, or month and email you the result.
A scheduled task is a prompt Obie runs for you on a repeat, like a Monday summary of last week's comments or a daily check for unanswered DMs. Each result is emailed and saved as an Obie chat.
Only organization owners and admins can see and manage scheduled tasks.
Create a task
- Go to Settings > Obie > Scheduled Tasks.
- Click New task.
- If your organization has more than one brand, choose the Brand.
- Enter a Title, such as "Weekly support summary."
- Under What Obie should do, write the prompt.
- Under When, choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly and set a time.
- Click Create task.

The time uses your browser's timezone when you save the task, shown next to the time field. If you edit a task later, saving it switches the task to the timezone of the browser you're using.
What happens when a task runs
- Obie runs your prompt the same way it would in a normal chat.
- The full conversation is saved as a chat in Obie Chat.
- Brandwise emails the result to the members of your organization, with a link to the chat.
If the prompt asks Obie to change something, Obie doesn't make the change on its own. The email says the task is waiting for your approval. Open the chat and click Approve or Decline.
Scheduled runs always have web search on. They can't generate images or use Meta Ads data.
Manage tasks
Each task shows its schedule, the next run, when it last ran, and how many times it has run. A Last run failed label appears if the latest run didn't finish, for example because your organization was out of AI credits.
- Pause or resume: use the switch on the task, or click ... and choose Pause or Resume.
- Edit: click ... and choose Edit, then Save changes.
- Delete: click ... and choose Delete.
Tips
- Say exactly what to cover and the time window, like "comments and DMs from the last 7 days."
- Start from the prompt library and use Copy prompt.
- Each run uses AI credits, just like a normal Obie chat.
