Connect other AI tools

Besides Claude and ChatGPT, you can connect other AI tools, such as coding assistants and agent frameworks, as long as they support remote MCP servers. The steps are the same for every tool: add the Brandwise server URL, then sign in and approve access.

What your tool needs to support

• Remote MCP servers over HTTP (sometimes called "streamable HTTP"). Tools that only run local MCP servers can't connect.
• OAuth sign-in. Brandwise doesn't use API keys or tokens you paste in. Your tool opens a Brandwise sign-in page and handles the rest. You don't need a client ID or secret.

Check your tool's documentation for where to add a remote MCP server.

Connect your tool

1. In Brandwise, go to Settings > MCP and click Copy next to the server URL. The URL is https://mcp.brandwise.ai/api/mcp.
2. In your AI tool, add a new remote MCP server and paste the URL. If it asks for a name, "Brandwise" works.
3. Start the sign-in. Your tool opens a Brandwise page titled Authorize Agent Access in your browser. Sign in to Brandwise if asked.
4. Under Organizations, tick each organization the tool should be able to reach.
5. Click Approve.

Your browser sends you back to the tool, and the Brandwise tools become available. The connection shows up in Brandwise under Settings > MCP > Connected agents.

Staying connected

Your tool refreshes its access automatically while you use it. If a connection goes unused for about 30 days, you'll need to sign in again from your tool.

Connecting more than one organization

If you tick several organizations, your tool gets an extra tool called list_authorized_organizations. The AI uses it to see which organizations it can reach, then names one organization on every request. Just tell it which organization you mean, for example "In Acme, how many emails are unresolved?"
