Permissions and access

This article explains who can connect an AI tool to Brandwise, what that connection can reach, and how to keep track of it or cut it off.

Who can connect

Any member of an organization on an active or trialing paid plan that isn't paused can connect an AI tool. If the plan is inactive or paused, Settings > MCP doesn't appear.

Every connection gets the same abilities, listed in What AI tools can do. They don't change with the role or permissions of the person who connected it.

Choosing organizations

When you approve a connection, you pick which organizations the AI tool can reach.

• You can only pick organizations you're a member of.
• Organizations without an eligible plan show Requires a paid plan and can't be ticked.
• One connection can reach up to 50 organizations.
• Your most recently used organization is ticked for you. Anything else is your choice.

The AI tool can't see or change anything in organizations you didn't tick.

How long access lasts

Access lasts until someone revokes it. Your AI tool keeps its access fresh automatically while you use it. If a connection goes unused for about 30 days, you'll need to sign in again from the AI tool.

If any organization on a connection loses its eligible plan (for example, the plan is paused), the whole connection stops working until you reconnect.

See what connected tools are doing

Go to Settings > MCP.

• Connected agents lists each connected AI tool, who connected it, when, and when it was last used. If the connection also reaches other organizations, it says how many.
• Recent activity lists every request, newest first: when it happened, which AI tool made it, what it did, what it acted on, and the outcome (Succeeded, Failed, Denied, or Rate limited). Above the list you'll see calls this week, the most active agent, and a health summary.

Revoke access

1. Go to Settings > MCP.
2. Under Connected agents, click Revoke next to the connection.
3. Click Revoke access to confirm.

The AI tool loses access right away, to this organization and any other organizations on the same connection. To use it again, connect it again from the AI tool.

You can always revoke your own connections. Owners, admins, and members with the Manage integrations permission can revoke anyone's.
